 Welcome to WhaleFest

Ian Rowlands & Dylan Walker talk WhaleFest

Whether you go whale watching every year or have never seen a dolphin but would love to know more about them, WhaleFest is for you! Like the whales themselves, WhaleFest will leave you amazed, inspired, and wishing you had longer to enjoy the experience!

WhaleFest offers something for everyone, whether you are hooked on whale watching, or simply have a passing interest in natural history or the sea. No matter what your level of interest or knowledge, you’ll find that there is so much for you to dip your toes into, as you find yourself lifted, like a Flying Fish, through the many activities, quizzes, inspirational speakers, taster courses, and stands at this fabulous venue.

And let’s not forget the sea itself. Just 5 minutes walk from WhaleFest you can join in with our many beach activities, take in the salt sea air, and feel the pebbles between your toes (sorry, no sand here!).

As well as immersing yourself in the world of these gentle giants, you will also be helping whale and dolphin conservation. Your support enables Planet Whale to provide whale and dolphin conservation organisations and sustainable whale watching companies with a free platform to promote their work to the widest possible audience.

Thanks to you, WhaleFest and Planet Whale remain free for all whale and dolphin conservation charities and the many small ecotourism businesses taking people to see these stunning animals in the wild.

Have a great weekend!
