Every year hundreds of humpback whales make their way down the "Humpback Highway" as they migrate through Perth waters and Mills want to help you witness this amazing sight!

And not only can you see these majestic creatures, you can actually listen to them communicate with each other (conditions permitting) with our under water microphone. We pride ourselves on being one of the few operators in Perth with this high tech device which allows you a glimpse into the underwater world.

Our success rate is in excess of 98% sightings overall and we make a promise to you that if whales are not sighted during your cruise, you will be eligible for another cruise FREE OF CHARGE!

Our whalewatchingperth.com cruises are 3-4 hours duration and enable all passengers to see the Humpback Whales up close as they often swim right up to the vessels or breach nearby! It is not uncommon for us to have curious calves come over for a look either.

It truly is an amazing experience and we encourage all whale watchers young and old to join us from September to December each season for a truly unforgettable experience!

Went on a whale watch with my wife for the first time last week and cannot speak more highly of the trip and the company. what a great experience and something we will remember for years to come. the whales are huge but so beautiful in the water and they came right up close to the boat and put on a very friendly show for us. totally in awe of the trip and will recommend to others for certain.

Had a fantastic whale watching tour whilst in Perth in September last year. Saw plenty of whales and one came right under the boat which was amazing to watch. We also saw dolphins on the way back to Hillarys. The crew knew their stuff and we felt very safe during the trip. The cost was very affordable and If we hadn't seen whales, we would have been able to have a free trip another day. A great day out. Looking forward to another trip when I go back to Perth this September.

I look forward to the whale watching season every year and it never disappoints! There are so many whales out there and I have been lucky enough to be on trips where they come up close to the boat as well as breach. The crew are great and full of interesting facts plus they put a microphone in the water so we can hear them. The booking is really easy and the boat is very clean. Keep up the good work!

Been going with Mills Charters for years, tried others, no comparison. Lots of viewing space, fantastic staff. Went last Sunday in choppy seas and overcast skies, still very enjoyable, and plan to go a few more times this year. Highly recommended to all who visit Perth who wish to do Whale watching

We had been looking forward to our trip all year when September finally rolled around and we were headed out on the water. I'd seen plenty of pictures on the Mills Charters Facebook page however they were nothing compared to seeing these whales close up! There were heaps of calves and one even approached the boat to roll over and appeared to be "looking" at everyone. The crew were great and gave us lots of interesting facts plus we got to hear the whales talk to each other under the water - amazing! Such a great day out and can't wait to come again this year!

There was plenty of free car parking near AQWA Hillarys Boat Harbour which is near the Mills Charters whale watching office. We were welcomed and invited to register before embarking on a great day of whale watching. I didn't realise how close migrating humpback whales came to the Mills Charter boat and so close to Perth, between Perth and Rottnest Island, not far from City Beach. Having my child see whales spouting and jumping high out of the Indian Ocean, from a big safe, stable boat was an interesting, educational experience. See how close whales came to the whale watching boat in the video on http://www.whalewatchingperth.com

The crew were helpful with good boat safety instructions and information about migrating humpback whales.

I've been on many whale watching cruises with Mills Charters and have loved every one of them. Sometimes the Humpback Whales come right up to the boat, and sometimes they stay in the distance with their babies. I have seen dolphins on these tours before and recommend the tours to my friends.
