Minimal impact on the marine environment
Own research / support for conservation
Went out for 3 days to see double figures of Blue Whales & a large pod of Sperm Whales. Also saw many dolphins. We managed to get close to to the whales but unfortunately other boats were less concerned about the whales' welfare & were quite disruptive. We had a professional naturalist with us & he has worked with Mirissa to ensure they cause as little disruption to the whales as possible. I wish all companies would behave similarly. I believe they also hire local people to man the boats including those affected heavily by the tsunami.

All in all, a fantastic company & experience. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
