It is hard to describe the feeling of pure happiness whilst you watch these incredible creatures frolic so freely in their natural environment. Dolphin World has one of the highest success rates in Europe at finding dolphins in the wild. It is often the case that they find us! You see, they love playing in the bow and wake of the Brixham Belle. The charismatic and charming "Brixham Belle" offers you comfortable seating in sun or shade together with a drinks and snack bar and if you are traveling with children the all important restroom facilities. If you are looking for a souvenir of your trip you will also be able to pick up a unique gift of your unforgettable dolphin experience. Please be aware that Dolphin World operates out of the Ferry Terminal located next to the Coach Park.
The captain and crew of the Brixham Belle are a friendly bunch and they will tell you all about the marine mammals and also give you a rock tour with a difference. Your 90 minute cruise into the historical Bay of Gibraltar to watch dolphins will also include an award winning commentary on various historical facts including the interesting information on the Battle of Trafalgar and Admiral Nelson's connection with Gibraltar.
So, don't forget to make time for this truly spectacular experience and don't miss out on the opportunity of seeing dolphins in the wild, (none of this tricks to order or pool captivity). If you are lucky, you will get to see mothers and calves in pods ranging from 20 to 30, up to many hundreds – an incredible sight! P.S. don't forget your camera.
Dolphin World operates throughout the year except late December through to March. (Winter maintenance period). General sailing times are 1015, 1200, 1345 & 1530 hrs.
However, these vary depending on the time of year. You can make your reservation directly through this website for the 12:00 sailing but don't worry, if you have a change of plan you can email or call us to arrange for a different time or date, subject to availability, of course.
