As Pioneers of the Dive & Whale Watching industry in Dominica we offer a full service Whale Watching and PADI Dive facility. Our fleet consists of a dedicated dive vessel, Domnik, a 30’ custom boat accommodates a maximum of 14 divers or 20 Snorkelers/Whale Watchers. Additionally we offer 2 other vessels which are used primarily for our Whale Watching tours, Snorkeling and Pleasure & Party Cruises; Passion, a 75’ sailing Catamaran which accommodates up to a 60 passengers and Miser’s Dream, a 60’ powered Catamaran which is comfortably furnished for overnight island trips and can accommodate from 6 people to 50 passengers.
Our Whale Watching and snorkeling tours depart several times a week with dedicated Whale Watching trips using hydrophones to listen to the whales and dolphins depart from our Anchorage Hotel dock on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm returning at 5:30pm. These trips start with a pre-trip briefing by our whale Watching guides at 1:30 around the Sperm Whale Skeleton.
At ourAnchorage Marine Mammal Interpretation Center, we boast the Caribbean’s only Sperm Whale Skeleton mounted near our lounge. Our guides use interpretational panels to hold educational talks and briefings for our whale watching tours, schools and other events. This center alongside our Whale Watch Trips is used as a Research Data collection field post of GRD (Society for Dolphin Conservation) and we work on an on-going basis with IFAW, CaribWhale and Shane Gero and the Whitehead Lab at Dalhousie University.
We are located just 5 minutes south of Roseau the Capital of Dominica and can pick up clients in the North and at other spots on island.
