If you want an absolutely amazing, memorable, whale watching experience, choose Chad with Sea Salt Charters.
If you are humming over the fact that it is more expensive than the large boats it is well worth every extra penny! There are only six people on the boat, so you can chat with Chad and Cara about the whales. They are very knowledgeable about the whales and their behaviors. They can even tell you some of the whales names!
Chad went out of his way to find the humpbacks for us and was as excited about seeing them as we were!
They are certified Whale Sense meaning they truly respect the whales!
I highly, highly recommend doing this trip if you are on Cape Cod!!!
Sincerely, Jenni and family

I have been on hundreds of whale tours but this one was far and above any experience I have ever had. The crew is super knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating. The vessel was clean and it was clear that the crew/owner took pride in his vessel. This is a "private" tour since it will accommodate up to 6 passengers, and, since the vessel is smaller than the average tour boat, viewing the whales at their level is an entirely different experience. If you are in MA, USA, do not miss a chance to experience this thrilling tour.

This was hands-down the BEST whale watch I've ever been on. I've never been as close to whales as we were last weekend and I've never had as much room on a boat as I had available last weekend. It was just us and our group of friends whereas previous whale watches were with 200 people. The kids really, really got excited. They were fussy when we made them put life-jackets on, but as soon as we saw a whale they forgot all about it! It really wasn't much more expensive than the group whale watches, and it was worth it! We created a family memory that day that will stay with us all forever. Priceless.

I have been Whale Watching a lot in Cape Cod in the past, and have always had a great experience. This year we decided to try a private whale watch with SeaSalt Charters out of Provincetown. It was like nothing I could have imagined. Being so low down and have the whales swim by the boat , it was almost as if we were swimming with them. Since it was private, we had plenty of space to ourselves, no fighting for a good camera shot. Captain Avellar's knowledge of the whale behavior really shows, on more than one occasion it seemed like he knew what the whales were going to do before they did. If you are thinking about treating yourself to an extra special treat while on vacation in Cape Cod, you should definitely consider a private whale watch with SeaSalt Charters.
