Mundo Azul is a Peruvian marine conservation group implementing volunteer based cetacean photo-identification and behavioral research programs for bottlenose dolphins, Amazon River dolphins, Sotalias and other cetacean species. Volunteers can take part all year round in two-weeks or full-month research programs. Volunteers don’t have to be biologists or natural science students. Volunteer will be trained on site by our researchers to take part in research tasks. In marine programs close-up dolphin and/or whales sightings are guaranteed for every day. Additionally daily sightings of sea lions, penguins and many species of marine birds. Rainforest expeditions offer sightings of both dolphin species. For marine tours we are counting with a small fleet of our own speed boats. Volunteers’ accommodation in a beach resort hostel with cable TV and WIFI. On free days additional fun programs like scuba diving, sea kayaking and sailing trips are available.
