Planet Whale provides a free platform for everybody interested in whales and dolphins to use – that’s our mission. Whale watch operators can list their tours, conservation orgs can talk to whale watchers, and whale watchers can get advice from the community, plus everyone gets the biggest directory of whale and dolphin watching trips on earth – all for free.
But running Planet Whale isn’t free. We’re working on ways to become self-sustaining, but our costs for hosting, development and admin are bigger than a Blue Whale! So, if Planet Whale helps you - organise your dream trip, promote your boat trips, or raise the profile of your charity - why not say thanks by giving us a (small) donation.

Help us to protect whales and dolphins
Right from the start of Planet Whale we have been running a voluntary project aiming to showcase the world’s 150 whale and dolphin conservation organisations.
With your help, Planet Whale can become the place where the world’s charities further their aims of protecting whales and dolphins, and users can easily choose a non-profit that they really care about to support or volunteer with.
To make this happen, we need your support to further develop the site. Every penny counts, and we promise to use the lot for whale and dolphin conservation!

Planet Whale would fall out of the sky tomorrow if it wasn’t for the efforts of a small but gallant team of volunteers, all upwelling info night and day to keep the site running!
Their efforts mean you can search the world for whale watching trips, meet like-minded people, and find out how you can help whales and dolphins – all for free.
Fortunately, these people have agreed to substitute wages for pastry, so if Planet Whale has helped you, why not help our vols by sending us a few beans to cover the cost of a pie, empanada, flan or quiche?
